Purchases and Payments.

Free Products. Xferno may allow you to download or use Products free of charge. Any terms and conditions that apply to purchased Products will apply to free Products, except with respect to payment-related matters (for example, the refund-related provisions of these Terms do not apply to such free Products). Xferno may impose limitations on your access and use of certain free Products.

Pre-orders of Products. When you place a pre-order for a Product, your contract for the purchase and use of that item is completed when the Product becomes available in your account, and you are not able to withdraw from the contract after that point.

Purchase of Products. When you buy a Product, your contract for the purchase and use of that item is completed once you click the button indicating that your purchase is complete and you are not able to withdraw from the contract after that point.

Product Purchases are Services. When you purchase a Product, you are buying a service. Performance of this service begins as soon as the purchase is complete, as the Product will then be available to you through your account.

All Sales Final. Except as expressly set forth in these Terms or other Xferno policies, all sales are final, and no returns, replacements or refunds are permitted. If a replacement, return or refund is granted for any transaction, the transaction may be reversed, and you may no longer be able to access the Product that you acquired through that transaction. Your rights to cancel or return purchases and get a refund are set out in the additional terms for the relevant Product type below and related policies.

Cancelling a Music Purchase; Refunds.You have the right to cancel each purchase of a Music Product from Xferno for a refund within 7 working days of the day after that Music Product becomes available for you to download or stream. Once you download or stream any Music Product that you purchase, you no longer have the right to cancel your purchase of that Music Product (unless the Music Product is defective).

Defective Products. Once a Product is available to you through your account, you should check the Product as soon as reasonably possible to ensure that it downloads or streams correctly (as applicable) and performs as stated, and notify us as soon as reasonably possible if you find any errors or defect. You may return Products that you purchased from Xferno to Xferno if Xferno does not perform as stated with respect to that purchased Product, and Xferno will provide at its option either a replacement Product or a refund of the purchase price. If Xferno elects to issue you a refund, the refund of your purchase price shall be your sole remedy. Xferno reserves the right to issue refunds or credits at its sole discretion. If Xferno issues a refund or credit, it is under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.

Credit Cards or Debit Cards

Troubleshooting credit card & debit card payment errors

  • If your card is new or recently reissued, make sure it has been activated.

  • Double check the card type (for example, American Express), the account number and expiration date.

  • Remove dashes or spaces from the account number.

  • If everything seems to be correct, call the card issuer's customer service 800 number on the back of your card. Your credit card company may need to speak with you before they authorize your purchase.

Account verification

To prevent any unnecessary delays processing your order, please ensure that the billing addresses on your order matches the information on your credit card account. If you have recently moved or are unsure whether you receive your credit card statement at your work or home address, please contact your card-issuing bank using the 800 number on the back of your credit card to confirm.

Security codes

The card security code is a unique three or four digit number printed on the front (American Express) or back (Discover/MasterCard/Visa) of your card, in addition to the account number.

Daily spending limits for Debit Cards

Most debit and check cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of an order, even if there is enough money in an account. When using a debit card, funds are immediately reserved in your bank account at the time you place your order. Please consult your card-issuing bank for information about your daily spending limits if you are having trouble placing your order.

When Xferno charges your account

When you place an order, Xferno will contact your credit or debit card's issuing bank to confirm it is a valid account. Xferno requests an authorization, which holds the funds for the full or partial purchase amount. As Xferno prepares your items, authorized funds will be unavailable and may display as "pending" on your credit or debit card's online statement.

If you are shipping an item, your card will only be charged after the item has shipped. If your order contains multiple items, you may see multiple charges on your credit or debit card statement.

If you cancel your order before your items are billed, any authorizations placed on your credit card account can take up to 30 days to expire and any authorizations placed on your debit card account can take up to 10 days to expire. Contact your financial institution for their specific timeframes.
